There are five types of post and rail fencing, from
Standard Post and Rail, a basic and versatile fencing comprises of machine rounded half round vertical posts, with three horizontal machine rounded half round rails, nailed to the flat face of the posts.
Or for those who desire something a little bit different there is
Special Heavy Post and Rail, this attractive design will appeal to those who want a more unusual, retro, or “riven” look to their fence. Comprising of half round vertical posts, with either three or four mortices, for the irregular sawn horizontal rails to insert into.
Post and Rail is also used as the perimeter fencing for our
Riding Arenas. We supply a surface of top quality conifer bark and wood fibre, permitting use under all weather conditions.
Surface and base are contained by post and three-rail fencing, complete with a 3.6m gate.
The riding surface is laid upon a prepared base to allow adequate drainage under normal conditions and Polyfelt membrane is laid between sub-soil and base, base and working surface.
A new alternative product that is set to revolutionise the equestrian and agricultural fencing market by replacing half round post and rail fencing is the
Octowood fencing system.
Innovative Octowood post and rail fencing is safe, strong and fast to install. Also because the octagonal rails have a pre-cut half lap joint at their ends, it means that its possible to construct a fence around obstacles such as trees or underground services.
