Standard (non-slotted) Fence Posts & Wall Plates

These are standard square section posts without the unique slot that our superior Slotted Jakposts have.

Standard Panel Fence Posts, planed finish square section 75mm x 75mm nominal. Planed finish approx. 70mm x 70mm.

Heavy Panel Fence/Gate Posts, planed finish square section 100mm x 100mm nominal, and can be used to hang light garden gates and are suitable for all our wooden garden panel gate ranges. Planed finish size approx 91mm x 91mm

Best Seller 641500 2.4m x 91 x 91mm planed finish suitable for 1.8m high garden gates.

We recommend posts for fences 1.2m high and over should be set in concrete and a minimum of 600mm into the ground. Download Post Installation Instructions

It is advisable to fix panels to posts with Jakclips ref 645000 when using standard posts. Order 1 pack per panel.

Gravel Boards are 150mm high 25mm thick and 1.83m long use code 667600.

Capping Rails 1.875m x 120mm x 25mm (667700) for use with Intermediate posts, suitable when posts and panels are finished at the same height and post caps are not used.

Capping Rails 1.925m x 120mm x 25mm (667770) for use with End/Corner posts, suitable when posts and panels are finished at the same height and post caps are not used.


Weathered two way capping rails also available. 1.83 x 65mm x 25mm (667777). For use between posts on top of panel, this capping rail is the exact width of a panel. Ideal when posts are higher than the fence panel to allow for the use of decorative post caps.
